The Project Engineer is also responsible for tracking and maintaining all safety communications, manuals and records.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Safety: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare and give weekly Tool Box Talks, Daily Safety Huddles and maintain records. </li>\n <li>Maintain a file for One Call Center requests to ensure no utilities are damaged during construction activities.</li>\n <li>Maintain a retrievable filing system for the Hazardous Communication Program - MSDS. </li>\n <li>Maintain the Project Safety Manual, make periodic jobsite safety inspections and record/file all findings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Payments: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform daily Quantity Review with Superintendent and Job Foreman. </li>\n <li>Enter daily quantities into system and file daily sheets.  </li>\n <li>Track completion of work on project plans. </li>\n <li>Perform monthly review of estimates with job Superintendent.</li>\n <li>Maintain a file, tracking all extra work.</li>\n <li>Notify Project Manager of anticipated overruns/under runs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Daily Logs: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain General correspondence file with correspondence log.</li>\n <li>Maintain Shop Drawing Log.</li>\n <li>Maintain Subcontractor daily log. </li>\n <li>Maintain Delivery log</li>\n <li>Accurately track Aggregate, Concrete, Pipe and other major materials that are delivered verses the quantity paid for.  </li>\n <li>Receive permanent materials, inspect and inventory to ensure compliance with approved submittals and contract documents </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Certified Payroll, EEO, Champs, Trainee Reports:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Enter daily payroll information by specific task and assist in productivity tracking.</li>\n <li>Track all subcontractors that worked on the project for the month utilizing the Subcontractor daily log.</li>\n <li>Submit copes of the Sub Log to Payroll monthly and notifying Area Managers of delays.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Miscellaneous:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain Job Records </li>\n <li>Track Job Codes using Phase Code System</li>\n <li>Review submittals for compliance to all contract documents</li>\n <li>Maintain the Request for Information (RFI) to the owner</li>\n <li>Assist in purchase of job materials to ensure the proper quantities are delivered</li>\n <li>Review project plans and assist in ensuring work is completed properly</li>\n <li>Perform Field Measurements</li>\n <li>Assist with Field Survey and Layout </li>\n <li>Collaborate with Project Manager, Superintendent and Foreman for creating Work Plan Packages</li>\n <li>Developing project look-ahead schedules</li>\n <li>Maintain As-builts</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>B.S. Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management or other construction related degree with 3+ years of related experience</li>\n <li>Experience in Heavy Construction, Civil and Wastewater is preferred with wastewater treatment plants and pump stations and construction of new facilities.</li>\n <li>Must be capable of meeting deadlines, self-motivated, detail oriented; have above average interpersonal skills and have excellent follow-through capability</li>\n <li>Verbal and written communication skills are essential to this position</li>\n <li>Ability to performed effectively in a fast paced environment; able to accurately process written documents, perform duties in a timely manner, be highly organized and able to interface; communicate effectively with company, clients and field personnel at all levels.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Reports to: Project Manager</p>\n<p>Location: Austin, TX or Houston, TX</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Posillico Civil, Inc. is committed to maintaining a working environment that promotes teamwork and that is free of any and all forms of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
