    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>DRIVER</p><p><br>1.0&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY</p><p>1.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The basic function of the driver is to operate several types of trucks/equipment.<br>1.2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Main duty would be operating a roll-off container truck.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>2.0&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS</p><p>2.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The driver reports to and is directly accountable to the Equipment Manager.</p><p><br>3.0&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;REQUIREMENTS</p><p>3.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Education</p><p>3.1.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Required: &nbsp;High School Diploma.<br>3.1.2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Preferred: &nbsp;</p><p>3.2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Licensing / Registration / Certification</p><p>3.2.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Valid CDL Class A and/or Class B Driver's License with clean driving record.</p><p>3.3&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience</p><p>3.3.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Required: &nbsp;None.<br>3.3.2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Preferred: &nbsp;At least 1 year of construction experience.</p><p>3.4&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Skills / Knowledge / Abilities</p><p>3.4.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Position requires the ability to follow instructions and operate a variety of related equipment.<br>3.4.2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The skills to judge distance and slopes accurately and make decisions based on verifiable standards.</p><p><br>3.5&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Physical Requirements</p><p>3.5.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The employee must be able to stoop, bend, and crouch.<br>3.5.2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be able to use hands, arms, and legs fully.<br>3.5.3&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction).<br>3.5.4&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.</p><p>3.6&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Mental</p><p>3.6.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be able to communicate, read and write in English.</p><p>4.0&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;WORKING CONDITIONS</p><p><br>4.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work will be performed mostly outdoors. Workdays will vary depending on weather conditions. There may be days when overtime in needed. Ajax pays time and a half for all hours worked over 40 hours in a week.<br>4.2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Normal workday will be from 7:30am – 4:00pm.</p><p><br>5.0&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p><p>5.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Operate various types of construction related trucks.<br>5.2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Deliver material &amp; equipment to various locations.<br>5.3&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be punctual.<br>5.4&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist warehouse crews when not driving/delivering.</p><p>6.0&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>6.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Complete equipment maintenance checklist beginning each day and prior to each trip.<br>6.2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain accurate and legible mileage log for vehicles operated.<br>6.3&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Complete all required delivery forms and turn into equipment manager each day.<br>6.4&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Report any equipment malfunctions and/or problems to equipment manager.<br>6.5&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Clean vehicles each week.<br>6.6&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Be at work on time every workday.</p><p>7.0&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE</p><p>7.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Completes checklists for all trips made on a daily basis.<br>7.2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintains accurate and legible mileage logs for each vehicle.<br>7.3&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Completes and turns in all delivery forms to equipment manager on a daily basis.<br>7.4&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Reports any and all equipment malfunctions immediately to equipment manager.<br>7.5&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Cleans vehicles on a weekly basis.<br>7.6&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrates regular attendance and punctuality.<br>&nbsp;</p>",
