After completion of probation: <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">$30.20/Hour</span></p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Job Duties</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Ensures that all work is carried out in compliance with company Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Wears proper personal protective equipment and follows aseptic procedures when gowning, degowning and working in the sterile and controlled areas</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Reports any accidents, incidents and injuries or illnesses immediately and notifies manager of any hazards, unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Prepares for production run by reviewing the production schedule; identifying batch specific requirements; weighing and measuring ingredients and adding to mixing equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Completes all necessary cleaning and preventative maintenance checks on equipment before production</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Operates and monitors batching equipment; observing and recording varying conditions; adjusting equipment and controls; conducting dilutions and yield calculations and following all relevant procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Troubleshoots breakdowns and works closely with maintenance to resolve issues</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Documents all activities as they occur in log books and Production dockets as required. Maintains cleaning logs per SOP requirements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities. Takes ownership for individual training plan</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Assists with the training of new operators as required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Other duties as assigned (could be assigned to packaging or non-sterile machine operator duties)</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Technical/Physical &amp; Behavioral Abilities</span></span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">2 – 4 years experience batching in a GMP pharmaceutical packaging &amp; manufacturing facility preferred</span></span></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">High School Diploma required</span></span></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">College Diploma in Sciences or BSc an asset</span></span></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Excellent math skills to perform calculations using simple mathematical formulas using fractions, percentages and significant numbers. </span></span></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Good command of the English language.
