The candidate should have high level SMT solder experience and will perform PCB rework, upgrade and document steps necessary to process all PCB requirements. The candidate should be a hands-on problem solver with capacity to quickly grasp and resolve technical problems and should be capable of solving real-world problems in the simplest and most cost-effective way.  May assist in the design, construction, test and repair of medical equipment. We are guided and united by our Group Purpose of “giving our world more smiles.” Visit: https://www.fujifilm.com/us/en/about/region/careers</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High level Solder skills for implementation of PCB rework and hardware upgrades</li>\n <li>Experience with BGA machine operation which includes removal and placement of BGA components</li>\n <li>Ability to troubleshoot Ultrasound system and Transducers PCBAs, and accessories to the component level.</li>\n <li>Provide repair of manufacturing failures and customer returned products.</li>\n <li>Provide root cause analysis of failures as required.</li>\n <li>Follow medical device design controls including detailed documentation.</li>\n <li>Perform hardware and software upgrades as required.</li>\n <li>Maintain organization and cleanliness of laboratory and testing areas, including tool maintenance.</li>\n <li>Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company's quality policy.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Secondary Job Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company's quality system.</li>\n <li>Cross train in operational processes to sustain departmental objectives.</li>\n <li>Ensure a safe, clean and organized work environment (5S).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2-4 year technical degree or equivalent work experience. </li>\n <li>Certificate in SMT soldering techniques</li>\n <li>Experience with BGA operation (Removal and placement)</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of ESD controls</li>\n <li>Current knowledge of medical/electronic technology, especially medical ultrasound</li>\n <li>Experience in a medical equipment manufacturing and service environment</li>\n <li>Current knowledge of ASIC, Chip Scale, and SMT technologies</li>\n <li>Experience with basic circuit design & electronic components</li>\n <li>Experience with MS Office suites</li>\n <li>Experience with basic hand tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to operate equipment such as repair tools, handheld and electronic.</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs with or without accommodations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Salary and Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Starting wage of $34.00/hr. + $0.50 raise after 6 months of service</li>\n <li>Insurance: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Medical, Dental & Vision</li>\n  <li>Life & Company paid Disability</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Retirement Plan (401k): </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>4% automatic Company contribution</li>\n  <li>Fujifilm matches 50 cents for every dollar you contribute, up to 6% of your salary</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Paid Time Off: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>You can accrue up to 120 hours of PTO in your first year of employment</li>\n  <li>PTO increases based on years of service</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Employee Choice Holidays:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>32 hours additional paid time off, based on date of hire in the calendar year</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Paid Holidays:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Eight (8) paid holidays per year</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p>FUJIFILM Sonosite offers a fantastic compensation package, including benefits, and a 401k program.
