    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Brooks Rehabilitation is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, and experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, analytical analysis, transaction flow, and financial reporting. Preference will be given to candidates with prior public accounting audit experience.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.</li>\n <li>Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li>\n <li>Maintain and analyze general ledger activity and ensure proper transaction flow.</li>\n <li>Document and maintain process narratives for all areas of responsibility.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and classification of financial transactions.</li>\n <li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.</li>\n <li>Assist Senior Accounting Manager, Director of Accounting and/or Controller as required</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting <strong>with at least 5 - 7 years</strong> of increasingly responsible financial roles with practical experience in accounting, audit, financial analysis and internal controls; public accounting experience is desirable. &nbsp;Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.&nbsp;CPA candidate a plus.</li>\n <li>Experience with Foundation accounting preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical ability to examine complex financial information and identify trends and discrepancies.</li>\n <li>A meticulous approach to reviewing financial records and documentation to ensure accuracy.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with team members and clients.</li>\n <li>Ability to identify audit issues and research and develop solutions to resolve them.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> <strong>Hybrid</strong>, Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital at 3599 University Blvd South, Jacksonville, FL 32216</p>\n<p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:&nbsp;</strong>Experience, education and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.</p>\n<p>Thriving in a culture that you can be proud of, you will also receive many employee benefits such as the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Pay</li>\n <li>Comprehensive Benefits package</li>\n <li>Vacation/Paid&nbsp;Time Off</li>\n <li>Retirement Plan</li>\n <li>Employee Discounts</li>\n <li>Clinical Education and Professional Development Programs</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
