    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Casual/PRN Advanced Practice Provider to join our General/Trauma Surgery Team in Florida! &nbsp;This position includes both inpatient/outpatient services and consists of various shifts, depending on department needs.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Our providers work together to care for babies, kids and young adults from all over the world.&nbsp;We use the most advanced surgical techniques and are active in researching various conditions in children to better help foster the healthiest generation of children.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Provides care to pediatric patients as guided by education, clinical expertise and Scope of Practice Agreement, including ambulatory, inpatient (acute) care, surgical first assist and pre- and post-operative management</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">This position will provide inpatient and outpatient coverage</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Elicits comprehensive or focused/interval health history</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Performs complete or interim physical examinations as indicated by the nature of the encounter</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Orders, performs, and/or interprets diagnostic or screening tests, including laboratory, radiological or other tests within the APP'S scope of practice</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Plans interventions including medications, treatments and procedures, and modifies plans based on evaluation of patient response.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Initiates, monitors, alters or orders medications related to conditions or illnesses being treated within applicable divisions</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong>What We Offer</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Competitive base compensation&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">No state income tax in Florida&nbsp;</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or current certification as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Florida Licensure as a Physician Assistant required upon hire or Florida Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse required upon hire</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Acute or Primary Care Certification acceptable, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner preferred (PNP-PC or PNP-AC) if an Advanced Practice Nurse</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">BLS required upon hire from the American Heart Association</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Prior healthcare/patient care experience strongly preferred</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Experience working with Pediatrics or Child Health preferred</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Federal DEA registration either active or required upon hire</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong>If you’re looking for a position that will allow you to enjoy a work-life balance, have an opportunity for professional growth, and focus on pediatric care, this is the opportunity for you.</strong></span></i></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">#LI-AW2</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">APSA2026</span></p>",
