    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>JOB TITLE:</strong>&nbsp; Radiologic Technologist&nbsp;</p><p><strong>SUPERVISION EXERCISED:</strong>&nbsp; None&nbsp;</p><p><strong>SUPERVISION RECEIVED:</strong>&nbsp; Reports directly to the X-RAY Supervisor&nbsp;</p><p><strong>EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:</strong>&nbsp; (This list may not include all of the duties assigned).&nbsp;</p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li>Responsible for proper use of light system to get patients</li><li>Responsible for identifying patient and exam</li><li>Ensuring correct exam will be done if questions about what the doctor may want.</li><li>Safely escort patient to radiology department</li><li>Provide patient confidentiality</li><li>Create a patient folder by placing information into the computer prior to starting the exam</li><li>Provide patient radiation protection</li><li>Position patient for each view ordered</li><li>Make exposure using ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) technical factors and proper collimation</li><li>Use QA (Quality Assurance) with each view taken to ensure correct identification of body part (L-R), acceptable technical factors and positioning</li><li>Store each patient&rsquo;s study to the Pacs System</li><li>Ensure charges properly match exams done</li><li>Return patient to the exam room</li><li>Assist doctors and staff with Pac&rsquo;s questions</li><li>Make copies of film to paper, film or disks for doctors and patients</li><li>Responsible for taking scout radiographs for MRI patients</li><li>Assist film library with filing outside film in the computer</li><li>Maintain proper radiation protection for self when holding patients</li><li>Assist film library with mailing back outside film</li><li>Provide coverage of film library when personnel absent</li><li>Provide coverage for Saturday and evening hours</li><li>Adhere to schedules provided weekly and monthly</li><li>Attend seminars and read bimonthly publications</li><li>Take direct readings tests for continuing education to keep certification current</li><li>Performs related work as required</li><li>Connect patient studies in the Pacs System daily</li></ol><p><br></p></div></div></div></div>\n",
