    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian<strong> Surgical Technologist </strong>at the <strong>University of Tennesee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Highlights:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunity to care for Military Families</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off</li>\n <li>Medical, Dental, Vision & 401K</li>\n <li>Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts</li>\n <li>On Call On-call begins Friday at 1830 and ends Monday at 0630. On call one weekend per month. </li>\n <li>If called in must report within 30 minutes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Experience</strong>: One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician after graduation.</li>\n <li><strong>Education</strong>:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Graduate from <strong>CAAHEP - </strong>Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (or)</li>\n   <li><strong>ABHES -</strong>Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (or)</li>\n   <li>Completion of a formal training program provided by any <strong>U.S. Armed Forces</strong> (Army, Navy, Air Force) for surgical technicians, surgical technologists or operating room technicians.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Certification</strong>: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from <strong>NBSTSA</strong> -The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (or)</li>\n   <li>Certified as a Tech-in-Surgery (TS-C) from the <strong>NCCT</strong> - National Center for Competency Testing  (or)</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>For More Information, Contact:</strong></p>\n<p>Kathleen Strautmann</p>\n<p>[email protected]</p>\n<p>(314)744-4144</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Company Overview: </strong>  </p>\n<p> Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
