This includes observing construction, reviewing and signing documents, and communicating with MSA staff, contractors, and clients.</li>\n <li><strong>Communicates professionally</strong> with clients, contractors and builds ongoing business relationships</li>\n <li><strong>Perform engineering calculations</strong> for the analysis, study, and design of specific project aspects.</li>\n <li><strong>Utilize electronic tools</strong> such as GIS, models, BIM, and CADD for project analysis, study, and design.</li>\n <li><strong>Assist in creating cost estimates</strong> for projects.</li>\n <li><strong>Instruct technicians</strong> on drafting for the projects you design.</li>\n <li><strong>Conduct field investigations or inspections</strong> ranging from visual observations to detailed measurements using specialized equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>WHAT YOU BRING</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Four years of relevant, post-graduate mechanical engineering experience </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required knowledge and skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of the philosophies, principals, practices, and techniques of engineering</li>\n <li>Proficiency with digital tools, which may include Microsoft Office, GIS, BIM, and/or CADD</li>\n <li>Advanced interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with colleagues</li>\n <li>Creative problem-solving skills to solve new and challenging problems</li>\n <li>Ability to mentor less experienced staff</li>\n <li><strong>The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
