Create the layout, flow, and capacity required to sustain safe and accurate access to inventory required to support High Bridge Operations. Lead and develop a warehouse team including shipping, receiving, materials monitoring, and control. Create and support seamless collaboration across the materials and operations teams. Create an unwavering culture of safety and continuous improvement. You will be part of the High Bridge HVHP Operations team, collaborating across all functional areas that support manufacturing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored Implement and enforce First In First Out (FIFO) inventory management practices to ensure that the oldest stock is issued before newer inventory Coordinate with receiving and shipping teams to ensure newly received items are stored in designated locations that maintain proper stock rotation Supervise and coordinate activities of workers concerned with ordering, shipping, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in the stockroom and warehouse Supervise and direct employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped, methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock, and related problems Process NC’s, ECR/ECO’s, and Supplier corrective actions Implement recommended remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow-moving, and excess stock Review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels Trace the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend remedial actions to resolve discrepancies Responsible for inventory control of component and sub-assembly materials and packaging materials Accurate daily cycle counting records and KPI reporting for related counts and records Alert appropriate personnel of shortages in inventory Lead, with primary accountability, annual inventories Study and analyse system workflows to ensure smooth and efficient flow of materials All other duties assigned
3+ years leading materials/warehouse functions and teams 5+ years of stockroom, warehouse, kitting, shipping & receiving experience Experience in electronics manufacturing a plus International shipping experience preferred Prior supervisory experience required Demonstrated expertise in ERP & MRP systems and transactions Intermediate to expert Microsoft Excel skills, ability to execute logical data analytics Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels & educational backgrounds Ability to lead a diverse, cross-functional team Capability to initiate and lead process improvements Ability to provide performance management and career development coaching to team members Knowledge of manufacturing controls required – Capacity planning, inventory control, Bills of Materials, Engineering drawings, Change Orders, Document Control, Work Instructions, etc. Experienced MS Office user; Teams, OneDrive. Visio and Smartsheet experience encouraged Ability to lift 50lbs
