Support emergency response activities and facility evacuation procedures when required. Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas and report maintenance or safety deficiencies. Assist VA Police and local law enforcement personnel when directed. Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and communication at all times. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 18 years of age. Ability to successfully pass a background investigation. No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and remain alert for extended periods. Ability to prepare clear and accurate written reports. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Preferred Qualifications Prior security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or public safety experience. Experience working in healthcare, government, or public-facing environments.
