Be part of history by manufacturing championship courts and apply today!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The job will be located in Amasa, Michigan in Iron County in the Upper Peninsula.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Reliability Technician</strong> to work in the Maintenance Department for our Mill.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities Include:</strong></p><p>Maintenance Reliability Technician: Primarily responsible for the systematic functionality, maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of all production related machinery systems with a focus on machine reliability through preventive / predictive maintenance functions .</p><p><br></p><p>1. Working with machinery and mechanical equipment including motors, gearboxes, pneumatic &amp; hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production line equipment</p><p>2. Investigates and troubleshoots mechanical failures, faulty operation of equipment. Develop root cause analysis of failures.</p><p>3. Develop and implement maintenance procedures, PM schedules, inspection routes.</p><p>4. Utilize vibration meters, thermography, and tribology to track the condition of production equipment.</p><p>5. Performs preventive mechanical maintenance, calibration &amp; setup of equipment and systems.</p><p>6. Performs reactive maintenance during breakdowns.</p><p>7. Reading diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications for installations, and technical orders to determine methods and sequence of assembly.</p><p>8. Working with Parts Coordinator to review BOM’s and Critical Spares.</p><p>9. Using hand tools, power tools and precision-measuring devices and testing instruments</p><p>10. Communicate with and maintain a positive working relationship with Operations and Maintenance personnel, and other internal and external stakeholders.</p><p>11. Maintain good housekeeping of job site / work area</p><p>12. Familiar with supporting plant utilities, troubleshooting and servicing.</p><p>13. Comply with all work instructions from Maintenance Manager and/or Supervisors.</p><p>14. Comply with the Lock Out Tag Out procedures and all safety policies and standards, without exception, (PPE, Hot work permit(s), confined space entry procedures, fall protection safety guidelines)</p><p>15. Demonstrate 5S compliance with to respect the 5S principles (clean work areas, confirm all tools and parts are removed from machines following repairs and or preventative maintenance, put away tools on the tool boards, return spare parts to the designated storage areas).</p><p>16. Comply with all ISO work instructions and procedures.</p><p>17. Comply with all safety processes regarding work orders and departmental process guidelines and/or controls.</p><p>18. Support and participate in TPM implementation.</p><p>19. Active support and participate in continuous improvement program(s).</p><p>20.
