You will report to the Sr Executive Producer.</p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Select, research, and write content for live newscasts to make the newscast an \"experience\" for viewers</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Work with and guide reporters in story production</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Coordinate creative vision with team of anchors, reporters, meteorologists, photographers, editors, and production staff</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Boothing assigned newscasts, breaking news and weather events</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Live timing newscasts&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Professional or college producing experience</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Experience working in a newsroom</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Have writing and copy-editing skills</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Coordinate several crews and responsibilities simultaneously</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Experience summarizing information into easy-to-understand components</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Creative presentation style, and ability to showcase all resources and elements</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Have and exhibit the highest journalistic integrity and ethical standards</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Must be available to work holidays, shifts including nights, weekends and overnights, and flexible with schedule to be available during breaking news</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Related military experience will be considered</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">In-person attendance is required</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><strong>Values in Action</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\">At Hearst Television we tell stories every day.
