          "text": "<p>The <strong>Manufacturing Manager</strong>&#xa0;is responsible for&#xa0;overseeing all manufacturing operations to ensure the safe,&#xa0;timely, and cost-effective production of custom electrical power distribution and control equipment. This role provides strategic and tactical leadership across fabrication, assembly, testing, and final packaging to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. As a key member of the plant leadership team, the Manufacturing Manager leads a team of Production Managers, Supervisors, and cross-functional support staff while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and operational goals. This role requires a hands-on leader with experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments and a demonstrated&#xa0;track record&#xa0;of managing change, building teams, and driving process excellence.&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Accountabilities&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Lead all aspects of manufacturing operations, including scheduling, staffing, workflow, and resource planning.&#xa0;</li><li>Ensure production goals are met or exceeded for output, quality, cost, and on-time delivery.&#xa0;</li><li>Maintain alignment with engineering specifications and project requirements for all products.&#xa0;</li><li>Directly manage Production Managers and&#xa0;Supervisors;&#xa0;indirectly lead a workforce of 60–150 hourly employees.&#xa0;</li><li>Develop workforce plans, training programs, and performance management systems.&#xa0;</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.&#xa0;</li><li>Champion a safety-first culture; ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.&#xa0;</li><li>Conduct safety audits, lead root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.&#xa0;</li><li>Ensure all production processes follow documented procedures and quality standards.&#xa0;</li><li>Collaborate with Quality Assurance on root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.&#xa0;</li><li>Drive initiatives to reduce rework, scrap, and quality escapes.&#xa0;</li><li>Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and waste elimination.&#xa0;</li><li>Lead cross-functional improvement projects to drive operational efficiency and throughput.&#xa0;</li><li>Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, and Quality Assurance to resolve production barriers and improve workflow.&#xa0;</li><li>Provide manufacturing feedback on product design and new product introductions (NPI).&#xa0;</li><li>Track and report on KPIs, including productivity, safety, quality, and labor performance.&#xa0;</li><li>Use data to drive decisions and present operational updates to leadership.&#xa0;</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.&#xa0;</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Required knowledge/Experience&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in custom-engineered equipment, electrical systems, or related industries.&#xa0;</li><li>Proven experience managing multi-department production operations with direct oversight of hourly workforces of 50 or more employees.&#xa0;</li><li>Strong leadership and team development skills, with&#xa0;a track record&#xa0;of building high-performing teams, developing supervisors, and driving accountability.&#xa0;</li><li>Deep&#xa0;proficiency&#xa0;in Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies, including 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.&#xa0;</li><li>Ability&#xa0;to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, job travelers, and production documentation.&#xa0;</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (e.g.,&#xa0;JobBOSS, NetSuite, IFS) and Microsoft Office tools.&#xa0;</li><li>Strong financial and operational acumen, including experience managing production budgets, labor costs, and capacity planning.&#xa0;</li><li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to present operational updates and recommendations to senior leadership.&#xa0;</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience&#xa0;maintaining&#xa0;a safe, compliant manufacturing environment.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>Supervisory Requirements&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Directly manages, coaches, and develops Production Managers, Supervisors, and cross-functional support staff.&#xa0;Indirectly leads a workforce of 60–150 hourly employees.&#xa0;</li><li>Responsible for hiring, workforce planning, scheduling, performance management, and professional development across all manufacturing departments.</li><li>Partners with Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, and Quality Assurance to ensure production, safety, and quality goals are aligned and achieved across functions.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>Education&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business, or&#xa0;a related&#xa0;field&#xa0;required.&#xa0;</li><li>Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>Values&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Safety Focus:&#xa0;Prioritize safety in all actions.
