    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for a Laundry Technician to join our Environmental Services Department on an as needed basis (PRN).</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">This position is responsible for providing clean linen for the medical center and ancillary buildings. The Laundry Tech maintains and updates knowledge of equipment and supplies used in the laundering process.  This position must maintain knowledge of department and medical center policies and procedures.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Major Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Sorts linen appropriately.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Weighs soiled linen and records weight in log.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Loads washers and programs appropriately for linen type, weight and soil level.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Transfers washed linens, to dryers and dries appropriately.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Folds linen properly and neatly.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Distributes linen to the appropriate areas of the medical center as scheduled.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Cleans laundry area and equipment at the end of each shift.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Completes the assigned Healthstream annual education courses on time.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Maintains utility and storage areas in a clean and orderly manner.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Uses chemicals appropriately.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Refills all necessary supplies and dispensers as required.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Utilizes attendance system per organizational and departmental guidelines.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Cleans medical center areas and linen storage as scheduled.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Skills, Knowledge, &amp; Abilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Knowledge of commercial linen cleaners and equipment preferred.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to read, write and speak English.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to follow written and oral instructions, including basic computer use.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must meet all local health regulation requirements including a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Education Requirements</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">High School Education or equivalent preferred.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Experience</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Previous laundry experience preferred, including knowledge of infection control.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Schedule</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Primarily eight (8) hour shifts.  Weekend and holidays are required to provide coverage.  Hours and shifts may change or rotate to provide coverage and perform the necessary duties.  Days worked and shift times are subject to change at the request of the manager.</span></p>",
