This role bridges commercial, operations, and finance, ensuring that Toters has the right products in the right place at the right time while minimizing waste and stockouts.</span><br><br><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">The lead is also responsible for mentoring demand planners/analysts, defining processes and KPIs, improving forecast accuracy, and contributing to strategic planning (e.g. new product introductions, promotions, seasonal planning).</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This role is based in Basra, Iraq</span></em></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><em><br></em></span><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></em></p>\n<p><em><br></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Lead, mentor, and manage a team of demand planners / forecasting analysts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Define, maintain, and continuously improve demand planning processes, including forecast cycles, review cadences, and escalation paths.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Oversee demand forecasting across product categories (e.g. grocery, fresh, fast-moving items), using statistical models, historical sales data, promotional plans, seasonality, and market intelligence.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Lead the demand consensus process, conducting forecast review meetings with cross‑functional stakeholders (e.g. sales, marketing, operations, finance).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and other KPIs; drive root‑cause analyses and corrective actions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Coordinate with inventory / supply teams to translate demand plans into procurement / replenishment plans.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Support new product launches, product phase‑outs, promotions, and assortment changes by producing demand forecasts and scenario analyses.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Work closely with commercial teams to understand promotional calendars, price changes, and marketing initiatives and reflect their impact in the forecast.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Liaise with operations/logistics to flag risks (e.g. lead time variability, supply constraints) and propose mitigation strategies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Prepare executive dashboards, reports, and presentations to senior leadership that synthesize demand trends, forecast errors, and strategic insights.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Drive adoption of better tools, automation, and analytical enhancements (e.g. move from Excel to forecasting software, predictive models) to scale the planning function.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Foster a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision making across teams.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Qualifications / Skills</span></em></p>\n<p><em><br></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or related field.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">3–5+ years of experience in demand planning / forecasting / supply chain roles, ideally with exposure to fast-moving consumer goods, retail, or grocery.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">At least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role (mentoring, coordinating planners) preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Willing to relocate to Basra, Iraq</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
