This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.</p>\r\n\r\n<h3>&nbsp;</h3>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components.</li>\r\n\t<li>Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform all work in compliance with electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete required documentation of repairs and service information.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure an adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts.</li>\r\n\t<li>Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide preventative maintenance on low- and medium-voltage circuit breakers, including; Inspecting for proper contact alignment, wipe, and gap measurements, ensuring primary connections are clean and lubricated, verifying that mechanical and electrical interlocks are working properly, vacuuming cubicles and lubricating all moving parts.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide preventative maintenance on facility transformers, including; visually inspecting substation transformers for damaged insulators, potheads, bushings, or signs of overheating in cable connections, inspecting transformer pressure relief devices, tap changers, liquid level indicators, and cooling tubes for discrepancies, inspecting equipment grounding and recording the number and size of ground bus and straps, checking the proper tightness of all external bolted electrical joints.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<h3>&nbsp;</h3>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; Qualifications</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>3+ years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in a chemical manufacturing facility.</li>\r\n\t<li>Completion of an electrical program at a technical or trade school preferred.</li>\r\n\t<li>Journeyman Electrician License or NCCER Electrical Certification preferred.</li>\r\n\t<li>Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.</li>\r\n\t<li>Working knowledge of electrical theory, principles, materials, and equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong background in preventative maintenance procedures for electrical equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Experience performing preventative maintenance on relays is a plus.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic industrial environment focused on safety, reliability, and operational excellence.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n",
