    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>IBTS is seeking a highly qualified and experienced NON-IT Project Manager with strong experience in the construction<u> </u>industry to join our team to provide comprehensive oversight for current and future program(s).  This position is currently a hybrid position and includes hands-on Project Management responsibilities for current programs. As a project manager, the incumbent will possess construction project management experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> RESPONSIBILITIES</p>\n<ul>\n <li>In serving as a Project Manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring <strong>timely deliverables</strong> per client requirements; overseeing report generation and quality assurance of all report submissions; maintaining an appropriate ongoing relationship with clients, teaming partners, subcontractors, other government personnel; supervising Project Assistant.</li>\n <li>Organize and/or <strong>develop </strong>programs to support the organization’s strategic direction, creating and managing long-term goals. Setting program controls, governance, and standards.</li>\n <li>Provide <strong>strategic leadership </strong>as well as technical / operational / financial / managerial leadership for successful implementation of projects.</li>\n <li>Oversee <strong>business development </strong>initiatives; Develop and manage <strong>strategic partnerships</strong> (internal and external) to <strong>grow contract business</strong>.</li>\n <li>Develop and monitor <strong>budgets </strong>for projects and overall programs; Conduct requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and <strong>financial data monitoring and reporting.</strong></li>\n <li>Manage and timely submit <strong>reports </strong>and program <strong>documentation</strong> throughout the project life cycle and analyze program risks; Provide <strong>regular updates</strong> to clients, stakeholders, and Executives with <strong>reports</strong> on the <strong>progress</strong> and performance of projects.</li>\n <li><strong>Manage a team </strong>with an array of talents and responsibilities and in different geographic locations; Ensure <strong>projects deliver</strong> specified results and meet quality expectations; Leverage industry best practices of process/procedures to achieve <strong>optimum contract performance</strong>; Identify and mitigate project <strong>risks</strong> to avoid delays and cost overruns.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s <strong>degree</strong> from an accredited school in an engineering or architecture-related technical field preferred.</li>\n <li>5 years of <strong>project management experience</strong> with management of projects ranging in size from $10K to $1M; and managing IDIQ contracts.</li>\n <li>Licensed Engineer, Registered Architect, or ICC Master Code Professional (MCP) <strong>required.</strong></li>\n <li>PMP certification or ability to achieve within 12 months of start date.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in MS Project and/or Smartsheet or equivalent Project Management <strong>platforms/tools.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong><u>Other Qualifications</u></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to meet current and/or future terms of eligibility that may require US Citizenship; ability to acquire standard government pass; and/or access requirements for Federal installations.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success providing exceptional customer service with high visibility in working with clients and managing programs, representing the company with integrity, expertise, and credibility.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability and experience supporting and interfacing with senior executive stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to work independently and/or in a team environment while demonstrating strong character and dependability; a track record of collaborating with internal team members at all levels and leading by example.</li>\n <li>Experience working with Team Partners and overseeing subcontractors.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management methodology and techniques, performance evaluation, and change management principles.</li>\n <li>Direct experience managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of varying degrees of complexity.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop, mentor, and lead professional technical staff.</li>\n <li>Experience working in the public sector is a strong plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Personal Qualities</u></strong></p>\n<p>IBTS places a high value on certain personal traits that work toward creating a positive, supportive work environment, which is essential for working together and achieving success.
