This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated behavioral health team member to make a difference in the lives of our patients.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Responsibilities</strong><br>&nbsp; &nbsp;<br><strong>Essential duties and responsibilities&nbsp;(including but not limited to)</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and mobility.</li><li>Support patients with basic life skills development (e.g., cooking, cleaning, and organization).</li><li>Monitor patients&#39; behaviors, moods, and physical conditions, documenting observations accurately.</li><li>Report significant behavioral changes, incidents, or concerns to clinical staff and management.</li><li>Encourage patients to engage in therapeutic activities, including relaxation techniques, social interactions, and coping strategies.</li><li>Respond to emergencies or crisis situations, such as aggressive outbursts, self-harm, or mental health crises.</li><li>Use de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts and prevent harm to patients or others.</li><li>Enforce rules and guidelines regarding safety, behavior, and boundaries within the facility.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (required). Additional certifications or coursework in psychology, social work, or related fields are preferred.</li><li>Experience working with individuals with mental health or behavioral disorders in a clinical or residential setting is highly preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>This job requires employees to have a full range of physical capabilities, including the ability to handle and lift patients, demonstrate manual and finger dexterity, and maintain good eye-hand coordination.
