This includes employee supervision and/or coaching, meeting manpower requirements and placements, as well as on-the-job training for employees.</p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Meet daily manpower and scheduling requirements, manage absentee coverage.</li><li>Meet overall performance measures of the shift.</li><li>Provide on-the-job training to employees.</li><li>Maintain and uphold all quality standards of the organization, including enforcing all policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, housekeeping, attendance, conduct, etc.</li><li>Maintain an accurate record of all production activities.</li><li>Evaluate team performance.</li><li>Interact with other departments when necessary to ensure proper system function.</li><li>Troubleshoot processes, equipment, and quality problems to facilitate maximizing efficiency.</li><li>Initiate new job start-ups when required.</li><li>Effectively manage scrap control and reduction.</li><li>Engage in plan development and implementation.</li><li>Delegate work to subordinates when necessary to ensure efficiency and timely completion of all tasks.</li><li>Complete necessary documentation and file appropriately.</li><li>Ensure that all completed orders are closed out and the product is transferred to the correct location.</li><li>Required attendance at daily production meetings.</li><li>Must maintain current certification for First Aid/CPR/AED.</li><li>Interact with Maintenance to maximize efficiency of all production lines.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>HS diploma or GED equivalent.</li><li>Three to five years of production supervisory experience preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills.</li><li>Strong proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel.</li><li>Flexible Schedule and ability to work overtime when needed.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and provide preventative maintenance and thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of all duties.</li></ul>",
