Being an established leader in the connected products space, we will give you a platform to work on new and innovative projects as a member of a team of intelligent innovators that are developing products that truly align with our mission of protecting what matters most.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>JOB DUTIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform soldering, PCB rework, and hardware assembly to support prototype builds and NPI activities.</li><li>Program devices according to provided operation guides and instructions.</li><li>Support RF and hardware validation by conducting testing and data collection using multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, OTA chambers, and other lab instruments.</li><li>Assist EE engineers with hardware bring-up, debugging, and reliability testing during development and validation phases.</li><li>Create mechanical prototype parts using 3D printing for structural evaluation and design validation.</li><li>Operate X-ray inspection equipment to examine PCB assemblies and product boards for solder quality and assembly defects.</li><li>Prepare materials and manage parts inventory for prototyping and engineering builds.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support prototype manufacturing, assembly, and engineering build schedules.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>YOU MUST HAVE:</strong></p><ul><li>2 + years of experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.</li><li>1 + years of experience strong soldering and PCB rework skills.</li><li>1 + years Hands-on experience with basic electronic test equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply).</li><li>1 + years of experience in lab work, prototype handling, and test execution.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>WE VALUE:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience supporting NPI builds and engineering validation activities.</li><li>Proactive attitude with the ability to understand workflows, learn required skills independently, and take initiative to support engineering and NPI activities.</li><li>Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately.</li><li>Experience operating advanced lab equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzer, OTA chamber, power analyzer, data logger).</li><li>Experience operating 3D printers for mechanical or enclosure prototyping.</li><li>Experience operating X-ray inspection equipment for PCB or electronics assembly analysis.</li><li>Hands-on experience with firmware flashing tools and processes.</li><li>Practical experience in hardware bring-up and basic troubleshooting.</li></ul><p><br><strong>WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:</strong></p><ul><li>Full life cycle involvement from requirements gathering to production of products that keep families, communities, and homes safe and secure.</li><li>Gain experience with 3-D printing to create prototypes that impact the future of Resideo products.</li><li>Opportunity to be on the roadmap for future engineering and design career paths.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>#LI-YC2</p><p>#LI-ONSITE</p>",
