The workstream combines economic impacts with an array of policy tools and financial instruments and mechanisms to address transition impacts and create opportunities for sustainable development. </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span><span>The workstream collaborates with policymakers, financial institutions, industry, academia, civil society, and development partners to design transition frameworks that leverage public finance, development capital, and carbon finance while managing transition risks and maximizing opportunities.</span></span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(186, 55, 42)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>About the role</span></span><span> </span></span></p>\n<p><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>The Senior Manager will report to the Associate Director – Low Carbon Transition and play a key leadership role in delivering and expanding CPI’s research, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building initiatives.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>This role offers the opportunity to shape low-carbon transition strategies, contribute to impactful policy interventions, and work with national and international stakeholders to advance climate action and sustainable development.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>The successful candidate will have </span><span>expertise</span><span> in one or more of the following areas: energy, power, urban resilience, mobility, hard-to-abate industries, circular economy, or just transition. They will also lead collaborations with policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, industry partners, and CPI’s global teams.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span the direction of senior management; develop, manage, and implement complex research assignments and analytical projects, </span></span><span><span>including oversight of all projects within the workstream.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Lead </span><span>the delivery of high-quality knowledge products, including reports, executive summaries, blogs, and presentations, working closely with the other program and non-program teams.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Support the Associate Director in business development, program development and administrative activities including allocation of staff time in line with budgets.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Drive the team’s research and analysis on topics related to low carbon transition in power, urban resilience, mobility, industries, circularity and just transition thematic areas.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Co-author, review, and contribute to the development of long research reports, issue briefs, and blogs, other high quality and well researched outputs </span></span><span><span>align with CPI standards.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Coordinate internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, and other dissemination activities and </span><span>maintain</span><span> excellent relationships with key stakeholders, existing clients, and potential qualification experience in economics, finance, </span><span>policy</span><span> or power sector</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Post Graduate degree in </span><span>business administration, </span><span>economics, finance, engineering, </span><span>sustainable development, public </span><span>policy,</span><span> or another relevant field and demonstrable.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Graduate</span><span> degree in </span><span>engineering</span><span> with preference to electrical and </span><span>mechanical</span><span> engineering</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Progressive experience analyzing India’s low carbon transition and knowledge about broader transition linked opportunities and complexities. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Knowledge of major policies, regulations and developments </span><span>pertaining to</span><span> India’s energy, mobility, </span><span>industry</span><span> and urban sectors aligned with India’s Net-Zero
