In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming patients, helping to create a welcoming and supportive experience as they begin their recovery journey.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p>\n<p>Sunday- Thursday 11:30-8pm or 1:30pm-10pm </p>\n<p>Tuesday- Saturday 11:30-8pm or 1:30pm-10pm </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong>$17–$19 per hour</p>\n<ul>\n <li>$17/hour: No college experience</li>\n <li>$18–$19/hour: College and/or relevant experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong>The Admissions Specialist is responsible for coordinating the patient intake process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately, and supporting a smooth transition into care. We’re here to help you reclaim your life and build a future filled with hope.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Promptly respond to inbound referrals via phone, fax, webform, etc. to assist clients and their family’s who are seeking treatment.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Review prospective admissions against approved admission criteria, policies, and procedures.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Initiate contact to gather required clinical and demographic data from patient and other sources.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Respond promptly to inquiry calls.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Schedule assessments.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist prospective patients and significant others in seeking treatment.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Refer inquiries to other agencies and community resources when not appropriate for facility assistance or admission. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate with referral sources.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate transportation arrangements for patients.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining all the documentation involved with the admissions process.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>OTHER FUNCTIONS: </strong> </p>\n<p><strong>Perform other functions and task as assigned</strong> </p>\n<p><strong>STANDARD EXPECTATIONS:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complies with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintains organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicate clearly and effectively to person(s) receiving services and their family members, guests, and other members of the health care team. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains regular and predictable attendance.  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>College degree preferred </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Two years’ experience in healthcare admissions, preferably in the mental health or substance abuse field. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC); Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor (CCDS) or Certified Employee Assistance Program (CEAP) certification preferred.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>First aid may be required based on state or facility.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <strong>SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:</strong><strong> </strong> </p>\n<p>​​This position is an Individual Contributor​ </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are committed to providing equal  employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual’s characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>AHMKT</p>\n<p>#LI-WTC</p>",
