Operations Supervisors who excel in their roles have a clear path to move into Operations Manager positions and continue their growth into higher leadership roles within the company. You will provide quality training, guidance, performance coaching, and feedback to assigned staff and advise and recommend training opportunities You will evaluate team operating processes, analyze reports, and identify all performance-related issues to ensure appropriate actions are made to maximize work effectiveness You will establish strong working relationships with other business units You will support the development and maintenance of departmental operating procedures You will set departmental goals and develop and maintain a daily employee work schedule that effectively meets the needs of the business unit and company You will accept incoming calls and effectively resolve escalated complaints You will exercise management authority concerning staffing, performance evaluations, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations What should you already know to be successful as a People Supervisor - Operations? Bachelor’s degree is required Phenomenal interpersonal skills with a focus on empowering others Ability to learn new concepts and think fast on your feet Strong drive, ambition, and the ability to motivate others Solid written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail Hands-on approach, and willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done Commitment to exemplifying organizational core values Employment Requirements: This is an exempt-level position where business need will determine the exact work schedule which should be expected to vary at times. Generally, the days of work are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00am-6:00pm. Saturday shifts may also occur as business needs dictate. Remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the workday Constantly operate a computer and other standard office equipment Ability to perform activities related to administrative functions, use of a computer, reading company-related documents and email, bending, and kneeling The position may require travel
