You will be part of a team known for cyber operational test and evaluation and systems security engineering.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support the MDA Director for Technology Protection, performing analysis and supporting systems engineering efforts for the Missile Defense System at the system, element, and/or component level as well as advising MDA technology development programs to protect U.S. critical information and technology in weapons systems from exploitation and ensuring the effective complete life of our premier weapon systems.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Duties include:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Implement technology protection against advanced Zero-Day Cyber exploitation.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support technology protection assessments, evaluations, maturation, and development.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support attack/countermeasure modeling, development, and evaluation.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support vulnerability research and analysis.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support International Programs.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify, design, implement, and manage complex weapon system projects and processes over their life cycles.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Apply systematic approach to developing mathematical models, processes, techniques, and procedures for the creation of new or substantially improved methods or products.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with senior level personnel to define, integrate and implement strategic direction for vital programs with long-term impact. Implement strategic plan within and across the organizational components.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support Special Joint Interagency Projects with critical National Defense implications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure horizontal identification and protection of Critical Program Information (CPI) across the Missile Defense System (MDS) and external DoD programs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide detailed and accurate technical reporting of analysis results in the form of PowerPoint presentations and/or Word documents, as well as oral briefings on complex technical subjects attuned to senior management, technical, or non-technical audiences.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position is open only to US Citizens.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">You must have 7+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project or industry equivalent.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">You must have a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree at minimum from an accredited college or University.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and critical thinking abilities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be capable of working independently and within teams to solve complex problems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">You must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of kernel level software, drivers, and firmware.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Possess in-depth technical and theoretical knowledge of digital technologies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Expertise in one or more elements of the Missile Defense System.</li></ul></div></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>nou (pronounced &lsquo;new&rsquo;) Systems:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Since its founding in 2012, nou Systems has built a reputation for excellence in innovative engineering, prototype development, and technical and professional services in multiple markets, including missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, and space control.
