We are recruiting for a number of Drainage Engineers to work in 2 person teams, covering the whole of Southampton. font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>About the role:</span> <br>Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working on our Southern Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.<br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Travelling to residential sites in a van you are responsible for, around the region powering a high-pressure water jet for restoration.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Run diagnostics and repairs on drains</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Delivering good customer service.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintaining good H&amp;S practise while carrying out works.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">To comply with health and safety responsibilities i.e. PPE / safe site set ups protecting Lanes Group employees, the public and other road users.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">To be able to utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work unsupervised in all weather conditions utilising correct PPE, lone worker system, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Dynamically risk assess site access &amp; working conditions depending on specific circumstances on arrival.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Liaising with the client regarding progress and any updates.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide support to your colleagues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">To conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment and plant before/after use.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Report any defects or malfunctions in regards to training.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif;
