    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p>*Position is on-site in either Thorp, WI or De Pere, WI</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>JOB PURPOSE:</strong></p><p>Perform functions to manage and execute projects for customers and internal departments related to the design and layout of new and renovated spaces using furniture design standards, in addition to analyzing and implementing product improvements for existing or custom products.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Transition customer ideas into project designs and layouts that meet customer specifications.</li><li>Ensure designs incorporate all applicable codes, regulations, and furniture design standards.</li><li>Provide guidance to customers on products that will be best suited for their application.</li><li>Work with the Sourcing Specialist to secure new hardware items for custom products.</li><li>Perform independently to effectively manage projects with minimal oversight.</li><li>Provide creative design suggestions to team members on design as well as solutions for complex designs.</li></ul><ul><li>Create professional presentations geared towards the dealer and architectural community.</li><li>Create design packages for both loose furnishings and fixed casework.</li><li>Set up video web calls to review and discuss drawings with customers to gather project details and verification.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned and needed.</li><li>Local and overnight travel, less than 10%.</li></ul><p><strong>COMPETENCIES:</strong></p><ul><li><em>Critical Thinking:</em> Seek information, use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems, and make conclusions.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li><em>Customer Service:</em> Able to develop and maintain strong relationships by listening, understanding, and responding to identified needs in a timely manner.</li><li><em>Teamwork and Cooperation</em>: The ability to work cooperatively within diverse teams, work groups, and across the organization, to achieve group and organizational goals.</li><li><em>Communication:</em> Articulate complex matters and effectively express ideas and information in a clear and organized manner, so it is understood by others, both orally and in writing.</li><li><em>Project Management</em>: Initiate, plan, execute, control, and oversee the work of a team to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>High School Diploma or Equivalent.</p><p><strong>Experience and/or Training:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>1 year of related work experience.</li><li>1 year of experience reading and understanding architectural specifications and plans.</li><li>1 year of experience with Project Management.</li></ul><p>Licenses/Certificates:&nbsp;None</p><p>Technology/Equipment:<em>&nbsp;</em></p><ul><li>Familiarity with Auto Cad and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul><p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>Associate degree in Design related field.</p><p><strong>Experience and/or Training:</strong> 2 years of related work experience.</p><p><strong>Licenses/Certificates:&nbsp;</strong>None</p><p><strong>Technology/Equipment</strong>: Familiarity with Auto Cad, CET, or other software used in the Engineering field.&nbsp;</p><p>PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:</p><p>Sitting for long periods of time, 6-8 hours per day.
