Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
To prepare and perform piano accompaniments, including choral parts, for all choral rehearsals and performances.
Transferable Skills:
Confident disposition with leadership qualities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To prepare all piano accompaniments for choir, including choral parts.
To attend all choir rehearsals.
To perform with the choir at their scheduled chapel and concert performances.
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Proficient piano skills, with ability to sightread well.
Keyboard experience as a collaborative ensemble pianist.
Physical and Environmental Factors:
This position requires repetitive motions to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
