You’ll play a key role in supporting and leading a variety of initiatives—from strategic and operational planning to process improvement, performance measurement, quality enhancement, and program evaluation—helping to shape and strengthen services that matter to the community.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Project Support & Delivery</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support or lead projects to ensure delivery within established standards, scope, timelines, and risk parameters.</li>\n <li>Contribute to project planning, documentation, and execution using established project management practices.</li>\n <li>Lead components of initiatives including strategic, business, and operational planning deliverables.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Research, Analysis & Reporting</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Gather, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making and program development.</li>\n <li>Conduct environmental scans, literature reviews, and jurisdictional research.</li>\n <li>Prepare clear, concise reports, presentations, and business documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Process Improvement & Facilitation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Facilitate sessions to map and analyze business processes, including current and future state mapping and gap identification.</li>\n <li>Support quality improvement and process redesign initiatives across Health Services.</li>\n <li>Share best practices and contribute to capacity building within teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Engagement & Collaboration</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Engage stakeholders through meetings, workshops, and communications to advance project objectives.</li>\n <li>Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.</li>\n <li>Provide facilitation support for cross-functional discussions and initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Data Collection & Program Evaluation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and administer surveys, and support or lead focus groups to gather insights and feedback.</li>\n <li>Contribute to performance measurement, quality initiatives, and program evaluation efforts.</li>\n <li>Support evidence-based approaches to planning and continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You Bring to the Role</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Education & Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>University degree in Business, Health, Public Administration, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Minimum three (3) years of experience in business strategy, project management, quality improvement, or a related area.</li>\n <li>Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. </li>\n <li>A satisfactory Level 1 Criminal Record Check obtained directly from a police station (third-party background checks will not be accepted).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex information </li>\n <li>Proficient in research, including critical appraisal, analysis, synthesis, and report writing </li>\n <li>Demonstrated facilitation capabilities </li>\n <li>Experience conducting project scoping exercises</li>\n <li>Effective time management skills, ability to work independently with minimal direction and the ability to meet tight deadlines</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain focus, commitment, and a positive attitude</li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).</li>\n <li>Intermediate knowledge and experience using MS Visio</li>\n <li>Experience with SurveyMonkey and Power BI </li>\n <li>Experience working in a project environment, including knowledge of project management methodologies and tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working in a healthcare or public sector environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Perks That Make Work Rewarding:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Peel Region, we’re committed to supporting our employees’ well-being, growth, and success:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>OMERS Pension Plan: Automatic enrolment to help secure your future</li>\n <li>Work-Life Balance: Flexible work arrangements </li>\n <li>Supportive Workplace: A respectful, inclusive culture that values collaboration</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Mode & Location:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role offers a <strong>hybrid work arrangement</strong>, with a combination of remote and on-site work based on operational requirements at the <strong>7120 Hurontario Street, Mississauga</strong> worksite.</p>\n<p>The frequency of on-site work may vary based on operational needs.
