Apply expertise and knowledge to improve and maintain complex critical systems and equipment utilized in the production of HTC/P and medical devices. Conceptualize, develop, implement, validate, and optimize equipment and tooling to achieve scale, stability, effectiveness, and safety of current manufacturing processes. Serve as a technical liaison between PE, R&D, and Processing Operations, to develop or improve processes in parallel with New Tissue development. Demonstrate significant influence within the department to improve department efficiency, by standardizing engineering approaches to problem solving, equipment validation requirements and other process engineering methods. The Senior Equipment Engineer requires limited direction, is self-organized, and can make independent decisions. The Senior Engineer mentors and guides junior equipment engineers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Monday through Friday 1st shift 8am-4:30pm </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the research and development of new equipment and manufacturing methods, working closely with MTF’s Design Services and specialized outside engineering companies, to improve people safety, product quality, and yield, and to reduce costs as it relates to critical systems or processing equipment.</li>\n <li>Initiate technical exchange with the stakeholders to develop and recommend strategies for improving the efficiency of operations by modernizing existing equipment and manufacturing methods.</li>\n <li>Influence team decisions across the organization.Routinely report to management on technical project updates and new technology.</li>\n <li>Estimate future manufacturing requirements and perform capacity analyses that can influence executive decisions on capital investment.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with appropriate departments/ teams to develop product design and tooling processes to ensure efficient processing methods</li>\n <li>Analyze data for investigation, productivity improvement, cost analysis; document and communicate results</li>\n <li>Install, validate, and troubleshoot processing equipment; generate the appropriate documentation</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and protocols</li>\n <li>Assist Process Engineers and Engineering Services team in troubleshooting, in the event of a problem.</li>\n <li>The Senior Engineer mentors and provides guidance to junior equipment engineers.</li>\n <li>Present data and report to senior colleagues and management</li>\n <li>Perform risk assessments of the equipment and processes currently in use.
