This position provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their family homes, with the goal of promoting safety, independence, and the development of essential life skills.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Direct Support Professionals deliver person-centered services, coordinate supports, assist with daily living skills, and advocate for individual needs in accordance with<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Title 17 requirements</span>.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Fluent bilingual in either Russian/English or Spanish/English</span></li>\n<li>Demonstrated interest in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities</li>\n<li>Ability to provide individualized, person-centered services</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Language proficiency is required to ensure effective communication with the individuals and families served.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Salary Range:  $17.50 - $19.50 per hour (Dependent on Experience)</p>\n<p><em>Please note that this is a<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">part-time</span><span> </span>position. </em></p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Primary Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Individualized Support &amp; Skill Development:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Teach daily living skills such as hygiene, meal preparation, and money management.</li>\n<li>Provide coaching in social skills and self-advocacy training.</li>\n<li>Support the use of assistive technology and adaptive devices.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Community Integration &amp; Resource Access:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate community participation and help individuals navigate transit.</li>\n<li>Assist individuals in accessing employment, education, and volunteer opportunities.</li>\n<li>Help connect individuals to necessary benefits and health services.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Service Coordination &amp; Case Management:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with regional centers, service providers, and families.</li>\n<li>Support the implementation of Individual Program Plans (IPPs) and service authorizations.</li>\n<li>Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services and activities.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Crisis Support &amp; Problem-Solving:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide behavioral and emotional support as needed.</li>\n<li>Assist with emergency preparedness and safety planning.</li>\n<li>Liaise with crisis teams and mental health providers to address immediate needs.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED required.</li>\n<li>AA or BA in Human Services, Psychology, or a related field preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Language Skills:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Bilingual (English required, and proficiency in Spanish, Tagalog, or Russian).</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of community resources and service providers.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in documentation and maintaining accurate records.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Certifications:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>CPR/First Aid required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Requirements:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.</li>\n<li>Clear background checks, drug screening, and TB test.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Join Us?</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Impactful work makes a direct difference in the lives of individuals.</li>\n<li>A supportive team environment committed to your professional growth.</li>\n<li>Competitive pay and benefits.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">To Apply:</span><br>Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your qualifications and experience for this position.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Harvest Healthcare Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all qualified applicants to apply.
