    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>As our <strong>Fulfillment Center</strong> <strong>Production Trainer</strong>, you will be responsible for facilitating orientation and maintaining training materials for new hires. You will also provide production, safety, employee engagement, and XP training to warehouse associates.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This position takes place at our La Vista (114th & Giles) location with a 6am-2:30pm schedule.</strong></p>\n<h2>Detailed Description</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Principal Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<h2>Essential Functions</h2>\n<li>Updates and facilitates orientation presentations, orientation materials, and fulfillment center/personalization/MindWare training curriculum </li>\n<li>Maintains and updates all new hire and training assistant training checklists</li>\n<li>Conducts training assistant certifications</li>\n<li>Responsible for scheduling training room for training and follow up training</li>\n<li>Provide safety training on the production floor pertinent to production</li>\n<li>Conducts OJT for new hires on Order Filler duties specific to either picking or packing</li>\n<li>Schedules and conducts follow up training for XP and employee engagement</li>\n<li>Administers employee engagement surveys and all yearly trainings</li>\n<li>Monitors progress of new hires and provides support as needed</li>\n<li>Perform follow up coaching as requested</li>\n<li>Provide retraining and cross-training of associates on warehouse operations with established procedures as requested</li>\n<li>Assist with XP kick-offs to include training of assigned associates and coaching</li>\n<li>Present and/or participate in T.I.M. meetings</li>\n<li>Must maintain confidentiality and project a positive professional image at all times</li>\n<li>Enter employee data into database as needed</li>\n<li>Responsible for the check in and orientation of temporary labor</li>\n<li>May be necessary to work required extra hours based on business needs, to include weekends</li>\n<li>Must be able to work in production as needed</li>\n<li>May be asked to perform in a Production 3-Deep capacity</li>\n<li>Regular attendance to OTC training classes is required</li>\n<li>Flexible scheduling is required</li>\n<li>Must be able to work with several employees at one time</li>\n<li>Regular and predictable attendance is required</li>\n<li>Promotes an environment that encourages employee engagement</li>\n<li>Actively participate in your Impact planning sessions and work to improve your engagement </li>\n<li>Works in a performance management environment</li>\n<li>Abide by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading Company</li>\n<li>Must be able to attend face to face meetings on short or little advance notice</li>\n<li>Work requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors</li>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>Marginal Functions</h2>\n<li>Performs other duties assigned</li>\n<li>May need to work at other locations as needed</li>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Here’s what you need to join the fun:</h2>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to work independently with little or no direction and schedule own job assignments</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast paced environment where situations can change at a moments notice</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old</li>\n <li>Must be able to work with all levels of management</li>\n <li>PC skills required including Power Point Presentations, Outlook, Excel </li>\n <li>Average reading and math ability</li>\n <li>Good communication skills </li>\n <li>Good people skills, confident, and approachable</li>\n <li>Detail oriented</li>\n <li>Proficiency in at least one area with established procedures under XP preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable of the policies and procedures of XP preferred</li>\n <li>Proven performance under XP (minimum 80% 4-week average) </li>\n <li>Proven accuracy under XP </li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team environment</li>\n <li>Ability to respond with flexibility to changing work demands</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Education</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous training experience in a multi-flow production environment preferred</li>\n <li>1 year OTC production experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Other Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to walk or stand for the duration of the shift</li>\n <li>Ability to frequently push, squat, bend, and reach overhead</li>\n <li>Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Ability to occasionally climb stairs and ladders to reach assigned work area and product</li>\n <li>Ability to work in elevated work areas up to 28 feet high</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Join us at Oriental Trading, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, where fun means business!
