Success is measured by your ability to develop your successors and your team’s ability to consistently meet and exceed all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About us</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Road Runner Sports is proud to have been recognized as the <strong>2023 Footwear Retailer of the Year </strong>by Footwear Magazine.</li>\n <li>Founded in a San Diego garage over <strong>41 years ago</strong>.</li>\n <li>Road Runner Sports has 52 stores across the country, and we are growing!</li>\n <li>Our Values, Mission & Purpose (we call them Our <strong>6 Pillars</strong>) are Be Different, Bring the WOW, Build something great together, Get Moving, Stay Active, and Live Healthy.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Own all store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).</li>\n <li>Monitor and manage team attendance and ensure accountability through coaching and counseling.</li>\n <li>Respond to Customer feedback, resolve issues, and always strive for continuous improvement of the in-store experience.</li>\n <li>Own the store visit operations and appearance checklist.</li>\n <li>Execute high-level in-the-moment coaching and development of your Assistant Manager, Supervisor, and Team/Shift Leads into all-star leaders.</li>\n <li>Participate in ongoing leadership training that will fine-tune your management, accountability, operations, and communications skills.</li>\n <li>Set the tone in your store for positive attitude and high energy.</li>\n <li>Manage the weekly schedule and payroll budget and determine hiring needs.</li>\n <li>Lead and conduct interviews for prospective new team members.</li>\n <li>Own plan-o-grams and plan and lead merchandising of the store.</li>\n <li>Manage change orders and supply orders including signage and fixtures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrate a level of leadership that comes from a minimum 5 years of retail/consumer sales experience including 3 years in a full accountability management role.</li>\n <li>Reliability and flexible availability that may include days, evenings, holidays, and at least one weekend day</li>\n <li>Open to up to 10% travel to support stores within your area or region.</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills that will inspire and motivate team members at all levels.</li>\n <li>Advanced computer skills including the ability to work with Microsoft Office programs and navigate the online systems.</li>\n <li>Able to prioritize, and use time management skills to keep ahead of daily, weekly and monthly tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Acknowledgments</h2>\n<p><em>After acceptance of a potential offer, the successful completion of a background check will be required prior to start date.
