The Senior Loan Origination System (LOS) Administrator is responsible for all configuration and customization of the company’s LOS. Assists with the management of ancillary systems and any integrated services. Works closely with management to evaluate business process, data integrity, and compliance issues as they relate to the loan origination systems. Works with technical and functional teams to solicit needs, determines feasibility and implements configuration changes. Maintains a structure for detailed governance and documentation around change management protocols, UAT, and back testing. Responsibilities Maintains a working knowledge of all end-user functional roles and responsibilities as they relate to LOS usage. Maintains business rules for data entry, workflow progression and regulatory compliance as specified in change requests submitted by the business stakeholders. Acts as a lead for the system administrator team and ensures optimal performance of all RE systems leading to enhanced productivity and adherence to compliance regulations. Oversees the design and configuration solutions to resolve system related business problems, meet user requirements, and streamline system workflows. Provides technical direction and support in the development of processes and workflows in the use of Encompass360, responsible for analysis, planning, testing, and implementation of projects and tasks. Serves as a liaison between technical groups and stakeholders to coordinate the system’s installation and ensure technical compatibility and satisfaction. Leads the design of test cases, testing effort estimations, test management and execution of UAT. Coordinates system mapping between LOS and outside vendors. Works with IT, Digital Channels, Accounting and all appropriate departments to ensure smooth and accurate exports between LOS, Servicing vendor, Sales Tracking, Core Banking system and others. Serves as an escalation point for LOS related support issues from the Business Analysis team, which provides second level support. Coordinates with LFCU’s Compliance Department to ensure LOS transactions are in compliance with all NCUA rules and regulations, secondary market standards, and to various federal real estate lending laws. Designs and documents release plans for deploying approved change requests and enhancements to system functionality. Performs system analysis and simulation testing to determine potential impact of deploying proposed system changes. Implements configuration changes and customizations as required by the business. Manages integration of 3rd party vendors and services within the LOS environment, and coordinates with the Company’s vendor management resources. Assists in documenting and submitting functional and technical specifications, change requests, test plans, and training documentation of IT Governance review and approval. Collaborates with operations managers and leaders as the Subject Matter Expert on best practices and methods to achieve business objectives using the chosen LOS. Keeps management and end-users apprised of any LOS-related issues, events, or anomalies that may affect system performance or availability. Collaborates with internal or external business analysts and/or developers and consultants regarding custom application development. Consults with and assists management in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of automated programs and internal controls. Provides continuous feedback to management in the form of reports, charts and statistics as requested. Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and year-to-date reports and graphs as requested by management. Maintains the LOS loan document generation library, including building custom documents as needed and maintaining eFolder settings. Regularly reviews LOS vendor’s published system administration guidelines and best practices and applies them to optimize system performance. Monitors interfaces to integrated systems ensuring that all systems are operating as designed. Coordinates system/procedure changes with Training Department. Assists in the revision and/or design of forms and products to ensure compliance. Works within and directly impacts their function, occasionally interacts with other departments. Qualifications Education Min/Preferred: Preferred Education Level: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Description: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Preferred Years of Experience: Comments: 5+ years’ experience with Loan Origination system management and system administration Knowledge, Skills & Ability Experience with implementing change management protocols and formal UAT test scripts Conceptual familiarity with Plug-ins and SDK/API functions is desirable Knowledge of writing business rules in LOS environment is a must Experience with programming skills, SQL queries and conceptual database design preferred Advanced MS Excel functions like formulas, pivot tables, and macros Experience with other reporting tools such as Tableau are a plus In-depth understanding of the mortgage industry and loan origination life cycle Thorough understanding of related regulations and demonstrated project management skills Certified Encompass administrator a plus. Contribute to large projects and are a force of proposition on their scope of work towards improvements and achievement.
