    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>This position manages the daily operations of the Supply Planning function that includes inventory, purchase order and procurement management. The <strong>Supply Planner</strong> has the direct responsibility for planning, executing, and monitoring Supply Chain&rsquo;s procurement strategies while maximizing process efficiencies and functional productivity. There are three core elements of the Supply Planner role:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure <strong>stock availability</strong> by using proper planning policies and investment strategies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify <strong>investment opportunities</strong> that broaden the stock portfolio using data insight and analytics combined with commercial and market inputs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sustain <strong>market leading service levels</strong> that leverage automated solutions for scalability of real-time purchase order delivery information from Supplier Partners.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manages the supply plan for a defined group of products across the North American, Canadian, and North American Export network.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manages the review, approval, and release of purchase orders as it relates to the supply planning activity.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proactively conducts strategic buying analytics to support and maximize sales revenue and margin growth.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works with Sales, Suppliers, Product Managers and Demand Planners to execute strategic buying decisions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reviews scheduled customer orders and production orders to maximize purchasing opportunities and to ensure sufficient inventories are in place to support the scheduled requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Facilitates the disposition of discrepant vendor deliveries by working together with the Receiving Discrepancy team to ensure prompt decisions are made and limit delays to customers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works together with other business functions including, but not limited to, Sales and Operations, Product Management, Marketing, and Finance to review and resolve purchase order opportunities related to special costs, supplier rebate agreements, and customer schedules.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Deliver turns and earns improvements, inclusive of Days of Supply and material cost efficiencies against defined KPI&rsquo;s.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partners with Product Management, Finance and Operations by providing analysis related to inventory excess and obsolescence.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Investigate and identify inventory related challenges with an entrepreneurial approach and at the direction of Supply Chain Management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participates in company training programs when applicable.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs other duties related to delivery management or non-inventory related tasks as assigned by Supply Chain Management.</li></ul></div><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">&nbsp;Required <span style=\"font-size: 14px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Qualifications</span></span></h2><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3+ years in an inventory management or supply chain related role.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must understand forecasting and demand planning principles.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Understands market dynamics, industries, products, &amp; competitors.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Solid understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Can correlate forecasting and demand planning activities to Supply Chain cost and service.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sets objectives and goals through effective planning and accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks/projects.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Managing through systems by implementing best practices.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Can effectively communicate (verbal, written and listening).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have strong teamwork, organizational, &amp; analytical skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Exhibits strong customer service and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knows how to set priorities and can quickly zero in on what is critical.</li></ul></div><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Preferred <span style=\"font-size: 14px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Qualifications</span></span></h2><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business or a related field;
