This is how we create Customers for Life!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Our Mechanical Service Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems utilizing knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, control systems, welding, and plumbing. As a Powers technician, you are also responsible for excellent customer service.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze, plan, and perform preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot, repair, and make modifications to HVAC systems.</li>\n<li>Adhere to all city, state, and federal regulatory statutes.</li>\n<li>Maintain maintenance records.</li>\n<li>Order and maintain parts as needed to repair and maintain HVAC equipment.</li>\n<li>Manage relationships with all vendor accounts.</li>\n<li>Properly maintain and safeguard Powers assets.</li>\n<li><span>Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Skills and Abilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Able to organize work and meet deadlines.</li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n<li>Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.</li>\n<li>Understands and has mastered the refrigeration cycles.</li>\n<li>Understands refrigeration recovery, evacuation, and charging.</li>\n<li>Understands and has mastered the heating cycle.</li>\n<li>Understands and has mastered electron theory, how electricity travels, AC and DC</li>\n<li>currents, single phase and three phase circuits, and series and parallel circuits.</li>\n<li>Understands and has mastered the fundamentals of temperature and humidity measurement and its temperature, humidity, cleanliness, and distribution.</li>\n<li>Understands and has mastered all types of HVAC systems and how each component within the system operates in conjunction with the other components and how that impacts the overall operations of the system as a whole.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Windows operating systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Team player</li>\n<li>Detail oriented</li>\n<li>Reliable</li>\n<li>Safety Aware</li>\n<li>EPA Universal Certification</li>\n<li>3-10 years of commercial HVAC experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Physical Demands</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Able to lift and carry 10-50 lbs. and up to 100 lbs. with assistance, sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, repetitive hand motions, hear, speak, may experience prolonged and irregular hours, and work with frequent interruptions.</li>\n<li>Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening and have a clean driving record.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>This is a Safety Sensitive position.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Powers requires pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Powers provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.</p>",
