    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>New London Hospital is seeking a permanent full time (0.8 FTE) advanced practice provider (APRN or PA) with prior hospital medicine or critical care medicine background to join our Hospital Medicine Team. This is primarily a daytime position, but with occasional night coverage.   Primary responsibilities include independently rounding on acute/swing/custodial patients, performing ED admissions, and responding to medical emergencies. The candidate will join a team of physicians and advanced practice providers who focus on delivering exceptional inpatient care.  New London Hospital does have a Special Care Unit (SCU) which serves as a step-down unit, but performing procedures or ventilation management is not required. New London Hospital features 25 inpatient medical-surgical beds which includes 4 SCU beds. Specialty services include general surgery and orthopedics. Being part of the Dartmouth Hitchcock Health System provides our clinicians with access to resources to safely care for patients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Located in the Lakes Region, near the White Mountains and just 90 minutes from Boston, MA there is opportunity for a multitude of activities.
