Our Supervisors are responsible for providing professional customer-focused security and life safety services for the people and the property they protect and our employees that they lead. Position is responsible for day-to-day leadership and supervision of a portfolio of customer accounts.  </p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A true Leadership position</li>\n <li>Ensure quality services are provided to meet customer expectations and contract requirements</li>\n <li>Regularly inspect, supervise, train, coaching, mentor, and lead security personnel assigned to the facility/building</li>\n <li>Perform operations related functions that include; scheduling, overtime management, review of daily logs and incident reports, training and development of staff</li>\n <li>Assist in monitoring/developing staff performance to include supervision, evaluations, disciplinary matters, training, scheduling, callouts, assigning work</li>\n <li>Assist in maintaining up to date and accurate timekeeping systems and records for staff</li>\n <li>Provide immediate response to emergencies and issues that arise</li>\n <li>Follow and coordinate established emergency response, action planning and procedures</li>\n <li>Maintain availability and to portfolio of accounts assigned</li>\n <li>May be required to initiate preliminary investigations into incidents</li>\n <li>Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, as required</li>\n <li>Prepare required weekly, bi-weekly and monthly manager reports</li>\n <li>Assist to procure, process and maintain uniforms and equipment</li>\n <li>The essential duties and responsibilities may differ by customer location assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Knowledge and Skill Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>State or municipality mandated security officer licenses</li>\n <li>Candidates should possess some of the following verifiable experiences;\n  <ul>\n   <li>1-3+ years civilian law enforcement or private or corporate security experience</li>\n   <li>2-4+ years military experience with a favorable discharge</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Must have reliable means of communication and transportation</li>\n <li>Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service environment</li>\n <li>Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve</li>\n <li>Good computer skills including Microsoft Office</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation</h2>\n<p>Harvard Protection Services offers a competitive hourly pay rate with health & welfare, dental, vision, sick leave, vacation, and 401K enrollment benefit opportunities.</p>\n<p><strong>About Harvard Protection Services: </strong></p>\n<p>Harvard Protection Services maintains true to our long-standing belief, Employees First and Customer Service.
