At Bala you will enjoy an exceptional employee experience that results in a successful career based on collaboration, leadership and personal development.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Lead the New York City area business development responsibilities, leveraging existing client base while performing market research and outreach on new potential clients and opportunities.</li><li>This is a client-facing role that requires both local office engagement and external client interaction. When not at client meetings or events the employee is required to be in the New York City office collaborating with internal team members, learning and growing in Bala&rsquo;s culture.</li><li>Work with Senior Leadership to define local business development strategies and goals.</li><li>Participate in New York City industry events and organizations.</li><li>Secure meetings with decision makers that purchase consulting engineering services, including architects, owners/end users and Owner&rsquo;s Project Managers.</li><li>Collaborate with firm wide business development team on cross office connections, strategic growth markets, and pursuits.</li><li>Maintain CRM database (HubSpot).</li><li>Strategize and manage RFP responses.</li><li>Author/write proposals.</li><li>Collaborate with marketing team on marketing content creation, strategic market campaigns, and social media.</li></ul><p><br>  <strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree with a focus in Business, Marketing or Engineering.</li><li>Experience in the architectural, engineering, and construction industry preferred.</li><li>Outgoing, creative, self-starter.</li><li>&nbsp;3 -10 years previous experience in a sales, business development, or marketing role.</li><li>HubSpot Experience a plus.</li></ul><p>As a multi-discipline consulting engineering firm, Bala provides innovative designs for building systems in the commercial and public market sectors.
