We currently employ staff of over 160, most based in the UK and Denmark but also in offices in Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and Poland. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are in search of an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer to join our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Primary Structures</span> department from September 2026. The primary work location will be in one of our UK offices<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">,</span> either in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bristol, Edinburgh or London</span>. You may expect some travelling in Northern Europe in relation to your work. Opportunities for short- or long-term assignments abroad may also be available.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Team</span></p>\n<p>You will join the Primary Structures Department who specialise in developing monopiles, jackets and floating foundations, supporting projects from early screening through to detailed design and lifecycle delivery.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Our integrated approach combines aero-elastic, hydrodynamic and seismic load assessment to deliver robust, cost-optimised and high-quality solutions across all structural forms.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Areas of Responsibility:</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and deliver design of primary steel structures for fixed offshore wind turbine foundations (both monopile and jackets).</li>\n<li>Contribute towards and develop your competences in offshore structural steel design.</li>\n<li>Collaborate and contribute as a key part of the structural design team to deliver world-class renewable energy projects.</li>\n<li>Use your programming skills and/or finite element capabilities to enhance current designs or build new models providing a state-of-the-art designed product to the client.</li>\n<li>Use your knowledge to prepare detailed engineering reports and technical notes documenting engineering analyses and recommendations and contribute to the development of the overall project programme, budget and risk registers.</li>\n<li>Take part in, or be responsible for, the development of in-house engineering software applied for structural design.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Experience &amp; Qualifications</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering area (e.g. MEng, MSc or equivalent),</li>\n<li>The ability to see engineering problems within their wider context,</li>\n<li>Great collaborative problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Proactivity and the ability to work independently,</li>\n<li>Appetite to challenge the status-quo and push boundaries,</li>\n<li>Excellent English and report writing capabilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Beneficial / Desirable Experience</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interest in design of steel structures for offshore structures.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of offshore design codes such as DNV-ST-0126, Norsok N-004, ISO 19902 and Eurocode 3</li>\n<li>Strong programming skills</li>\n<li>Experience with LaTex for reporting.</li>\n<li>Have experience with and interested in performing 3D FE for structural analysis.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We offer excellent opportunities to influence your daily work, develop new competencies and work on interesting projects.
