The substitute teacher maintains a positive, safe, and Christ-centered learning environment while following lesson plans and supporting students academically, socially, and spiritually.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Education</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor’s degree required </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Teaching certification preferred but not required</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Job Functions</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; text-decoration: underline\">The substitute teacher shall:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher and deliver instruction as directed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain appropriate classroom management and student discipline in accordance with school policies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Supervise students in the classroom, hallways, playground, and other school settings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assist with student questions and provide support with assigned academic work</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive learning environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Take attendance and complete basic documentation as required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Communicate any significant student concerns or incidents to administration</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Provide supervision during transitions, recess, or other assigned times as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain professional and respectful interactions with students, staff, and parents</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Adapt as needed to different grade levels, classroom environments, and schedules</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform other duties as assigned by school administration</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The employee must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the school day, with or without reasonable accommodation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The employee must be able to actively supervise students in both indoor and outdoor environments, including during recess and transitions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The employee may be required to bend, kneel, stoop, or reach while assisting students or managing classroom activities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The employee must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds, including classroom supplies or materials</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;
