    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p data-pasted=\"true\">Responsibilities include translating drawings and electronic data into CNC part programs such that geometry and labor standards are met, supports machine prove-out activities, coordinates machine / process sequences with the Team. Tool / Fixture design and concepts, develops time/cost estimates on new parts to Estimating. Supports the development of the most efficient manufacturing processes to effectively fabricate production parts. &nbsp; When new business is established, develops and supports those processes to the extent they produce parts that meet or beat the originally established quality and cost estimates before being utilized by production. Develops and supports the optimization of existing production parts, as well as the production strategies surrounding our company&rsquo;s lean initiatives. Responsible for researching and incorporating, where viable, the latest technological advances in all facets of machining, finishing and assembly technologies so that PMW will be recognized as a leader in shaping and machining complex, close-tolerance metal components and sub-assemblies.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Using manufacturing techniques in accordance with customer&rsquo;s specifications, develop 3, 4 and 5 axis NC programs using Catia.&nbsp;</li><li>Develops NC part programs which direct the most efficient, cost effective and highest quality process.</li><li>Create setup and supporting documentation to adequately instruct machine operators on the loading and execution of NC programs.</li><li>Support AS9100 Audits and ensure compliance to established standards.</li><li>Programming Translation - Translate drawings and electronic data into part programs such that geometry and labor standards are met.</li><li>Schedule and Hours Targets - Ensure that part numbers you program are completed such that established schedules are met, and programming and prove-out hours meet estimated budgets as follows:</li><li>Estimating - Assist the engineering department develop part estimates such that accurate and timely bidding packages&nbsp;for customer RFQ&#39;s are created.</li><li>Technological Advances - Know and understand the State-of-Technology in metal machining and Information Technologies, so that a Capital Asset recommendation can be made to the Executive Leadership when required.</li><li>Data Integrity / Data Field Population - Ensure that specified fields have been properly filled in so that systems are able to generate information properly.&nbsp;</li><li>Audits - Understand the requirements/procedures as defined in the Programming CAD/CAM manual and the Engineering Procedures manual so that you could answer any audit questions involving said manual.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">New and existing part development will occur per established schedules and budgets.</li><li>Production will have the methods to consistently manufacture parts to established labor and quality standards.</li><li>Our lean enterprises will have manufacturing methods that meet key lean principles.</li><li>Required ERP system information will be complete and accurate.</li><li>External Customers will perceive PMW as a technologically competent supplier.</li><li>New technology advances will be integrated when appropriate.</li><li>The cost of producing existing production parts will continually be reduced.</li><li>The overall &lsquo;Span time&rsquo; of existing production parts will be reduced</li></ul><p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p><ul data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Capable of utilizing customer drawings and/or solid models and develop CNC programs to produce parts that meet Engineering requirements.</li><li>Must possess exceptional measuring and blueprint reading abilities, the ability to analyze dimensional results of prove-outs and effectively correct discrepancies,</li><li>Must be able to participate in cross-functional team activities that encompass bid review, engineering plan development, and manufacturing producibility. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to communicate with Union Journey Level personnel to problem solve and make improvements on the shop floor.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">7-10 years CNC Programming and Tool Design Experience of 3, 4 and 5 Axis Machining centers</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Previous machining experience with hard metals on 3, 4 and 5 axis machines preferred.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Working knowledge of metal removal cutting technology required</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Experience with Catia</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Experience with Vericut</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Modeling / Tool Design and drafting capabilities a plus.</li><li>Associates Degree or equivalent preferred</li></ul></div></div></div>\n",
