    "description": "<p>US Heart and Vascular is in need of a PRN CT Technologist to join our team at Pima Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Provides excellent patient care, acting with professionalism and empathy at all time&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Provides patient care in a timely manner, communicates with radiologist, and works efficiently as a team member&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Preforms a variety of tasks and works under general supervision&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Helps maintain quality control of CT machine&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Follows radiation safety techniques&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs diagnostic CT studies on patients as prescribed by physician and explains procedure to patients to assure cooperation and optimal test results&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Adhere to guidelines for sterilizing and cleaning of radiologic equipment&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Administer contrast material&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>View images and adjust parameters to achieve high quality diagnostic imaging&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Follows and enforces Pima Heart policies and procedures&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Successfully complete in person device/application specific training&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Safeguard the privacy of patient health information&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities&nbsp;</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to prepare for procedures including moving patients</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be a current licensed CT Technologist in the State of Arizona.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be registered with ARRT&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>BLS/CPR Certification</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Experience with cardiac imaging preferred&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Experience scanning on Canon/Toshiba machine preferred</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>About Tucson, AZ:&nbsp;</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Located in Pima county, Tucson is considered the soul of the Sonoran Desert and the flavor of the Southwest, making it a hotspot for outdoor enthusiasts.
