Learn more on our Benefits page. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>In your role, you will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare patients for procedures</li>\n <li>Serve as a resource to patients and families, offering education on PICC care and maintenance.</li>\n <li>Perform precise PICC line insertions using best practice guidelines.  </li>\n <li>Administer drugs including procedural sedation</li>\n <li>Monitor patients' vital signs and patterns during procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being throughout the process.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> Graduation from a school of Nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in nursing qualifying for state licensure required</li>\n <li> Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred RN PICC Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in PICCs insertion and maintenance.</li>\n <li>Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to thrive in both independent and team-oriented settings.</li>\n <li>Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to clinical excellence.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Licenses and Certifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required</li>\n <li> BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Aditional certification requirements must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) </li>\n <li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Disclaimers</h2>\n<p>• Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.• If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.</p>",
