Responsibilities In your role, you will: Prepare patients for procedures Serve as a resource to patients and families, offering education on PICC care and maintenance. Perform precise PICC line insertions using best practice guidelines. Administer drugs including procedural sedation Monitor patients' vital signs and patterns during procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being throughout the process. Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Education Graduation from a school of Nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in nursing qualifying for state licensure required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Preferred RN PICC Experience Proficiency in PICCs insertion and maintenance. Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills. Ability to thrive in both independent and team-oriented settings. Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to clinical excellence. Licenses and Certifications RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required Aditional certification requirements must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job.
