Description

Support Adults on Their Recovery Journey Through Compassionate Counseling Compass Health Network is seeking a licensed therapist or certified substance use counselor to join our Adult Outpatient team. In this meaningful role, you’ll provide individual therapy, treatment planning, and crisis intervention for adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll support clients through person-centered, integrated care—helping them build the tools needed to improve daily functioning and enhance overall wellbeing. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position. Schedule: M-F 9a-5p This is a great opportunity for someone who: Is passionate about working with adults navigating mental health and substance use concerns Wants to make a real impact through one-on-one therapy, crisis intervention, and holistic care planning Thrives in a team-based environment and values strong clinical collaboration Is looking to grow in a flexible role that allows for licensure supervision (if applicable) Enjoys a dynamic position that includes direct service and occasional triage/crisis support Values an organization that supports cultural competence, clinical development, and person-centered care Provide individual psychotherapy and support services to adult clients Serve as a team coordinator for referrals, waitlists, and client care (particularly in CSTAR/OUD settings if applicable) Conduct clinical assessments and complete treatment plans in collaboration with persons served Provide triage services during Open Access hours, when needed Deliver culturally competent services that align with the unique needs of each person Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation in accordance with agency and state regulations Interface and coordinate care with other internal and external service providers to ensure wraparound support Offer crisis intervention services during daytime hours per agency protocol Participate in treatment team meetings and quality assurance activities Provide licensure supervision (if applicable) Meet agency-defined productivity standards and customer care expectations Attend all required training and maintain compliance with funders and accrediting bodies High School diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree preferred (experience may be considered in lieu of education) At least two (2) years of relevant experience preferred Licensure / Certification (One of the Following Required) Certified through the Missouri Credentialing Board: CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, or QAP OR Provisionally or fully licensed in Missouri: PLPC, LPC, PLMFT, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW You’ll be a great fit if you’re someone who: Builds strong therapeutic relationships with adults facing complex mental health or substance use challenges Communicates clearly and empathetically with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members Is highly organized and can balance direct service with timely, thorough documentation Values evidence-based practices and is committed to continual professional growth Brings flexibility, dependability, and a solution-focused mindset to day-to-day work Believes in whole-person, recovery-oriented care and thrives in a collaborative treatment environment Is comfortable navigating crisis situations with calm and professionalism IND2
