    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Nemours is seeking a Public Safety Command Center Operator (Full-Time), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Orlando, Florida.</strong></p><p>This position monitors the operations of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire safety, emergency generators, medical gas alarms, security, medical and environmental systems. The Public Safety Command Center Operator will adjust systems or contact appropriate resources to correct variations to established parameters. The position receives work requests and dispatches work, makes emergency announcements, enters work orders, receives and relays call information to staff and in general assists with the flow of information to ensure the effective operation of key procedural and control systems. The Public Safety Command Center Operator will receive calls for service and dispatch Public Safety Officers as appropriate. The position will page out alarms, codes, and alerts as necessary.</p><ul><li>Monitor security technology including cameras, access control, duress alarms, emergency call box alarms and infant abduction system.</li><li>Monitors and responds per procedure to fire alarm systems, smoke control, and related fire suppression systems. Assist with testing of these systems, as required. Monitors and responds to electrical systems, generators and related alarms.</li><li>Maintains radio contact and accountability for all Public Safety staff and monitors news sources and situations with potential impact to Nemours Children’s Health.</li><li>Maintain equipment and alarm status and enter service tickets as appropriate.</li><li>Proactively dispatch Public Safety Officers to areas of potential need based off observations from camera and/or access control systems and pages out alarms, codes and alerts.</li><li>Maintains appropriate log books, post orders, daily activities and other associated Public Safety materials.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma required.</li><li>Minimum of three (3) to six (6) months experience required.</li><li>Possesses and maintains Florida Class D Security license required.</li><li>Proficient in all computer and technology applications utilized by Public Safety Department.</li><li>Working knowledge of security policies, procedures and practices.</li><li>Able to work varying shift assignments including nights, weekends and holidays.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>#LI-EP1</p>",
