    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p>\n<p>The Machine Operator - Production is responsible for operation and maintenance of diamond technology and equipment supporting Tiffany Diamond Divisions Operations.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><u>Operator:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate Laser inscription equipment. Maintain the accuracy and quality of inscription process on all Tiffany &amp; Co. diamonds according to established procedures and CODC guidelines.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support risk mitigation utilizing current technology equipment according to established procedures.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support processing for all qualifying diamonds into Grading Lab complete evaluation for standard proportions according to TGL procedures utilizing Sarine technology. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of Sarine output while controlling the upload of data into JDE.</li>\n <li>Support the sizing and sorting of diamonds utilizing technology equipment according to established procedures and provide results data where needed.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><u>Maintenance:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform adjustments and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal machine performance as needed and in accordance with established procedures.</li>\n <li>Coordinate routine performance maintenance according to schedule and record according to established process.</li>\n <li>Communicate equipment issues promptly to leadership and Sr. Engineering Technician, escalating as needed, and troubleshoot to resolve problems.</li>\n <li>Maintain professional communication when working with vendors to resolve machine performance issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><u>Training:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead training sessions around machine operation and identifying issues with machine output.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Create and maintain SOP documentation through various mediums to reflect ongoing process enhancements and ensure alignment across departments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><u>General Operations:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide support to TCO/Laurelton partners as needed in efforts to resolve equipment issues.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support continuous improvement initiatives through the identification of process improvements and communicate suggestions to management.</li>\n <li>As requested, assist with various projects and tasks associated with Diamond Division initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><u>Safety:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adhere to all workplace policies and procedures. Ensure that all safety measures and guidelines are followed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in a technical environment for extended periods of time.</li>\n <li>Ability to work well with colleagues in a dynamic team environment.</li>\n <li>Capable of managing multiple priorities.</li>\n <li>Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.</li>\n <li>Excellent attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with limited supervision in a high volume, fast-paced atmosphere.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education</li>\n <li>2-3 years of operating and maintaining machines and/or technological equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diamond Grading Diploma</li>\n <li>Operational knowledge of Sarine proportion evaluation equipment</li>\n <li>Experience in operating laser engraving equipment machines</li>\n <li>Previous experience in a Diamond Laboratory</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The hiring range for this position ranges from $25.00&nbsp;- $30.00/hr. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.</p>",
