A &nbsp;Night Shift Premium of $2.20 is paid for every hour worked</strong></p><p><strong>Pay Range: $22.70 -$25.80</strong></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>As a Machine Operator, you will operate various machines in the fabrication department.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibility:</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-top:0in;\"><li>Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings (blueprints), and/or work orders.&nbsp;</li><li>Operate, and monitor machinery with minimal supervision to ensure proper functioning and production output.&nbsp;</li><li>Operate small hand tools, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job's needs.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process and adjust as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Record Production data and maintain logs to track machine performance and output.&nbsp;</li><li>Inspect finished products for adherence to specifications and quality standards; identify and address any defects or issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Assisting with routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance; identify and report any mechanical issues to the fabrication supervisor.&nbsp;</li><li>Must work in accordance with Health &amp; Safety regulations, Company rules, policies, and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned by the lead hand or supervisor.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0.25in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Academic/Educational Requirements:</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-top:0in;\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br><strong>Required Skills/Experience:</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-top:0in;\"><li>Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience operating machinery and knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques such as 5S would be considered an asset.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.&nbsp;</li><li>Basic math skills and proficiency in using measuring tools.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs with the assistance of a lifting device.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to use hand tools and power tools.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot by identifying mechanical errors.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team setting.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane (training will be provided)&nbsp;</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be organized, proactive, and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace.&nbsp;</li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain clean work areas and equipment.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0.0001pt;margin-top:0in;\"><strong>What Linamar Has to Offer:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Competitive Compensation</li><li>Employee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Drug, Dental &amp; Vision etc.</li><li>Opportunities for career advancement.</li><li>Sustainability Council</li><li>Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.</li><li>Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom:0.0001pt;margin-top:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0.0001pt;margin-top:0in;\"><strong>About Us:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0.0001pt;margin-top:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0.0001pt;margin-top:0in;\">At Salford Group, a Linamar Company, we are industry leaders in agricultural equipment innovation, committed to advancing farming practices through precision technology.
