          "text": "<p>As a <strong>Embedded Software Engineer - DO-178</strong>, you will contribute to the development and verification of embedded software in compliance with DO-178C guidelines for safety-critical avionics systems.</p><p>You will work closely with system engineers, software developers, and certification specialists to ensure <strong>compliance </strong>with aviation <strong>safety standards.</strong> For this role, we are seeking <strong>mid-level to senior engineers </strong>with strong expertise in <strong>DO-178</strong> V&amp;V activities, particularly <strong>testing </strong>on target. The position also requires the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of assigned tasks. Candidates must be located within a 1-hour driving distance of <strong>Sugar Grove, Illinois.</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities :</strong></p><ul><li>Engage directly with customers to resolve technical or logistical issues.</li><li>Independently execute according to project plans.</li><li>Collaboratively work with other software and test engineers throughout verification phases of the product development lifecycle.</li><li>Understanding of both open and closed loop testing&#xa0;along Simulation/Unit Testing and&#xa0;Hardware In the Loop (HIL) Testing.</li><li>Perform software verification and validation activities (reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and testing on target hardware)</li><li>Participate in technical reviews and audits</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (systems, hardware, quality, safety)</li><li>Work independently with minimal supervision and drive tasks to completion</li></ul>",
