Performs tasks that require an intermediate level of skill and rotates between tasks as needed to meet production demands. &nbsp;Works under direct supervision. Follows standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks. Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments. Maintains ongoing dialogue with Production Lead regarding product schedule. This position is located at our Rosemount facility.&nbsp;</div><div><strong>In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:</strong></div><div>• Performs all duties of welder 1.<br>• Must have the following weld certifications EP-4136, EP-4051 and EP-4091.<br>• Must be qualified to weld 405 -1195 or 485 products.&nbsp;<br>• Able to work on basic specials (i.e., flange substitutions).<br>• Independently identify work to be done. Proactively flexes into other areas to maximize&nbsp;<br>• overall product flow and efficiency.<br>• Works on assignments that are frequently non-routine and moderately complex in&nbsp;<br>nature, where judgment is required in resolving problems and making&nbsp;<br>recommendations.&nbsp;<br>• Refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.<br>• Ensures product and process quality is maintained through visual inspection and&nbsp;<br>testing as required. Assure that all details of a task are accomplished properly. Takes&nbsp;<br>initiative to troubleshoot and problem-solve.&nbsp;<br>• Documents all product travelers, ensuring proper quality documentation as applicable&nbsp;<br>to a given process. Enters data and performs computer transactions, as appropriate.<br>• Participates in Improvement Teams, Lean Manufacturing, and 5s + 1 efforts to help&nbsp;<br>improve quality, shorten cycle times, and reduce manufacturing costs.&nbsp;<br>• Performs preventative maintenance on, and ensures calibration of, equipment, tools,&nbsp;<br>and fixtures, as required.<br>• Assists in the orientation and training of other welders.<br>• Takes initiative to rotate to the work that needs to be done, inter- and/or&nbsp;<br>interdepartmentally as appropriate.<br>• Keeps work areas clean and organized, in accordance with 5s+1 principles.<br>• Follows safety procedures as required in a specific operation. Identifies safety&nbsp;<br>concerns and takes appropriate action to resolve them.<br>• Share skills and knowledge. Effectively gives and receives feedback.
